Welcome to my page!
My name is Harris and I am a full-time student at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario.
I am in the fourth and final year of my Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies.
This year I have produced three works of digital audio. My work explores the themes of home and community.
The first is an Audio Portrait of my friend and neighbour, Lee Harris.
The second is a Soundscape Composition exploring the front and back of a local grocery store, with a break in the cooler.
And finally, an Audio Documentary that tells the story of how a tenants association saved their home and built a community.
I am inspired by my neighbourhood of Centretown and the people who live here, who have built a vibrant progressive community in the heart of an urban landscape.
